I don't mean to be a blue hair but i so enjoy nature and all it has to offer, I grew up in conn. in the woods so i appreciate the sound of just what belongs there, Not that i dont like the tunes at certain times likes discos in the dez but i am far happier on the outside ring i don't want to spoil the fun of the folks that like camping opposite of the way i like, it all has its place!:B
Wow looks like the sheriff's are enforcing that decibel rule huh?
Truth be told, I can count on one hand the number of times I have had the stereo on in the trailer in 6 years, let alone loud enough to upset the campers/campground. The reason for the speakers, just so I can sit next to my trailer and listen to some good music, if I so desire without having to turn it up and open the windows... The reason for my post you ask, cause it's been to quite around here and I just wanted to see if I could get some one to pop a blood vesel over NOTHING!!!!!

The Speakers have a U-shaped bracket that attaches to the trailer and then the speakers attach to that..

Hey Bud,
My only complaint is that your kids turn in earlier than mine do. Does this mean the party's over when yours go to bed? If that's true, then your setup is 100% unacceptable.
So where are we going for Thanksgiving? I assume the healing process is over and you're back in bidness?
By the way conclusion-jumpers. The camp sites are pretty far apart where we camp, but you HAVE to have a good way to pump your tunes or else you're stuck listing to the faint sounds of the guys down the road. (Unless you're like SAS and drive down the road to get them to turn it up--I'm too lazy for that though).
I hear there is a trip planned for Vet's weekend.... As for Thanksgiving, We will have to see... Hoping new, no Friday after TG is in place by then... Might allow me to keep the WR as well.

I find your "Bluehair" remark distasteful. I have rocked with some of the best of all time but there is never any need to try and offend others.
Trust me when I say, my hair is turning blue as we speak..

Yes I could have mounted them back farther, but I would sacrifice sound qualiity if I did, because they mount so low, you would need to lay on the ground to hear them..
They are weatherproof, but also removeable, so I will remove for long trips, (Over an hour) or when weather is nasty..)

GACampnGirl and the other GEEZER, Finally Fulltiming, appear to be reading more into Derwud's post than I think he intended. I don't recall him ever saying anything about cranking up the volume to a level beyond anything respectful of others. Matter of fact, he indicated he would only be playing the music at reasonable times of the day. All he indicated was that he now has the ability to listen to music outside of his trailer, with his family. Nothing there indicated he intended to blow out anybody's eardrums. Sadly, there are too many people that try to spin things and this was another perfect example. It probably wouldn't be too loud but I'm sure that if someone felt it was too loud, he would gladly turn it down if it was mentioned to him.
Derwud, I'm sure we would call chip in and buy you some Lawrence Welk CD's. Then they could all turn up their hearing aids or come over to your camp and listen with you. LOL!!;) Maybe even have a Polka Party with them.
A one and a two and a three.....

OK, here's your first flamer....
Why do you feel the need to impose your choice of "music" on others. Do you really believe that everyone else within earshot enjoys it? Or you just do it to irritate others? How would you like it if the Bluehairs blared church organ music at you?
And most of all, why bother to pay for a campsite at all? Just stay home & blow out your own eardrums.
Sorry you agree without knowing how and where these speakers will be used!
As for my trolling... No matter how I titled this thread, someone would have come on here and said what a rude SOB I was, so I might as well invite you in from the begining so you feel more welcome..
So I went to a campground a couple of months back and got there around 11, without thinking I grabed my impact and started lower my jacks. I got yelled at by a group partying accross from us, well I put it away and got a bunch of NASTY comments from the fine folks. Well they stayed up till 2am being VERY loud and obnoxious... I was wrong, but WTH, how do yell at me and then take RUDE to a new level...
Any way, the only way these speakers will reach higher levels is when EVERYONE around me wants it!!

Gotta love it... See I am a very respectful person except to those that have to flame or bash without knowing me... The speakers are for me and my family to listen to good music, (Even some that Blues will like) at reasonable levels between 10am and 8pm.. Before you get your panties in a twist, know that no matter how I would have posted this, I would have gotten the same post from someone...

A big thank you for great Service
I had this happen to my trailer a while back and just never got to it. Well during my last visit to the RV shop, I asked about fixing and after a quote that was right on and much kess than the day it would have taken me to fix it. The Folks at Benlo RV fixed up trailer better than new.. In fact I want to now take it back for them to fix the other 3 corners, that just look nasty from the factory...
While I was there, I asked about a short hose from the pump to the feed line. Tom at Benlo RV and installed it for free... Wow, I don't get stuff for free..

You never know who your friends are until you are lying in a ditch with a broken leg.. As for your list... I would bput in plastic and mount it on a garage wall and near the entrance. If anyone asks, it's your personal checklist, and hopefully if trouble occurs, everyone will know about your list!
I hang out with who I hang out with because I know when the chips are down my friends will step up and take care of it...
I owe a bunch of people some HUGE thank yous...
